Monday Walking Group

As the good weather continues and I did not have any plans this morning I decided to join the Monday walking group for the walk around Morden Hall Park.   I know I have walked around this park many times but it does always appeal especially as it was such a gorgeous day.

During the walk there were a few herons spotted and we also managed to see their nests up in the trees.

It was certainly beautiful along by the River Wandle and there were plenty of ducks

The statues of Venus and Neptune were in the main park but unfortunately they were vandalised, they have now been repaired and these Grade II listed statues have now been placed on Wandle island where I hope they remain safe.

  1. How sad that nothing is safe these days... The park looks beautiful, and that weather was irresistable, wasn't it?!?
