Ham House and Garden

A couple of weeks ago we finally had some sunny weather I took myself out for the day with the camera.   I went off to Ham House and Garden, a National Trust property near to Richmond.    The journey was quite easy on the buses via Kingston-upon-Thames.   I thought I had been to this property before but when I got there I realised I had not been before.

The gardens were really pleasant to wonder around and they have a magnificent kitchen garden the produce of which are used in the cafe.
There was an exhibition of work in and around the house and garden which made the visit even more interesting.
I did go into the House too and managed to take a couple of photos.
Also had a very nice lunch in the cafe and an ice cream from the shop.

I have added more photographs to my flickr
