The following are photographs of the wall in Sutton that includes the towns that Sutton is twinned with; Wilmsersdorf, Gladsaxe, Minden and Gagnu.

Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park

Yesterday I had a lovely day out in London with a guy called Keith.   We met at South Kensington to visit the Natural History Museum for the Wildlife Photography Exhibition.  Then we had a bit of lunch and even though the weather was not kind to us we took a walk up to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.

Westminster Abbey with the BRC

I attended a service at Westminster Abbey for a dedication to Octavia Hill, the founder of the National Trust.  All part of my volunteering  with the Red Cross.

Firewalking at Holy Trinity Church, Lyne

I was invited by Petra to come along and see her do some firewalking for charity.   It was difficult to take photos, but here are a few.

Book - Private Games

Recently finished reading Private Games by James Patterson and Mark Sullivan.  This is the first book I have read in the Private series.  It was fascinating to read as the backdrop is the London Olympics.

Weekend away with my schoolfriends -2012

My school friends and I went away in early October to stay at Littlecote House, near Hungerford.  The hotel is part of the Warner group and very pleasant location.

We spent the Saturday in Hungerford, pottering around the antique shops and then long the Kennet and Avon Canal.
On Saturday night we were entertained by Todd Miller and the Joe Loss Orchestra.

On Sunday we visited Avebury Manor, quite an interesting place.
Then we walked around the Standing Stones of Avebury.
Finally we went onto Silbury Hill.

Chartwell

Last Sunday was a beautiful sunny day and I met up with my friend Andrea in Bromley and we took the bus to Chartwell.
As I may have mentioned before Chartwell is one of my favourite places.  I also managed to see the black swans, such lovely birds.
