Mile End to the Olympic Park meetup

Last Sunday I met with a lovely bunch of people from the Hampshire Photography meetup group for a walk around parts of London I am not familiar with.

We started at Mile End underground station and walked through Mile End Park along the Regents canal passed a couple of locks.

We then arrived at Limehouse Basin.

It was then a long walk along the river, this was the boring part of the walk until we reached the Three Mills.  It was like an oasis.  The buildings were really interesting and this is definitely a place worth visiting again.

A little further on we came to the Olympic Park.

It was a really interesting walk on a really beautiful sunny day.

Lots more photos on flickr.
