Thank you for visiting my blog I hope you enjoyed it and will return to see what I have been doing. Or you could always join and be one of my followers.

If you would like to use one of my photographs then please ask me first, as they are all subject to copyright.

Visitor from Spain

I met up with my niece Amber and her boyfriend Samuel during their trip to London.   We took a walk along the Southbank and saw the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament all lit up.

Poppies at the Tower

This morning I did a volunteer shift at the Tower of London to plant some of the thousands of poppies.  I met some interesting people, had a lovely time and worked hard.   The site of the poppies is quite amazing.  There are lots more photos on flickr.

Invictus Games

On Friday I went to see wheelchair rugby as part of the Invictus Games at the Copper Box, Olympic Park.  It was an amazing experience, very load and great fun.

The GB team won the gold medal and here is Charlie Walker being interviewed after the game.
Ryan MacIntosh, part of the USA team, spent time with a group of school kids in the arena.

In the crowd was Boris Johnson and of course Prince Harry.

WWT Wetlands - Arundel

Last weekend, while staying with my brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Pauline we visited Wetlands at Arundel and had a fab day out.
