Trip into London

I went for a trip into London to see the 350th Anniversary of the Great Fire of London.  A wooden floating structure of a street of 17th century wooden houses designed by the US artist David Best in collaboration with Artichoke and built on barges by hundreds of schoolchildren and unemployed young people.

The sculpture was set alight on 4 September as a dramatic retelling of the story of the Great Fire of London of September 1666.

More photos on flickr.

I also took a few photos around Blackfriars.

And from Blackfriars Station.
Also a few photos down Old Bailey
